Karl Bury Studios at 440 taught by Karl Bury. Most of Karl's teachings coming directly from his mentor/teacher, the incredibly insightful Larry Moss. Enough cannot be said about Larry's teachings, passion and compassion for the artist and the craft of acting. If you don't know Larry (and are an actor) I'd strongly suggest you pick up his book, The Intent to Live. It opens the mind and the heart while breaking down the work and uncovering the soul of the performance.
Currently in class, I'm delving deep into the beautifully written and tragic tale, Closer by Patrick Marber, as the stripper and lover extraordinaire, Alice. And taking quite an opposite spin (yet, another dancer, pun intended) in Langford Wilson's vulnerable love story Burn This! as the statuesque Anna.
Its been a journey but since we are never there there... the work continues!
